Brandon Wendt
for Kansas House District 42
“I put on my boots everyday and go to work. I will represent everyday Kansans in the House.”
Meet Brandon
He currently resides in Tonganoxie, Kansas with his wife of 20 years, Summer and first-generation college graduate daughter, Kearyn.
As a blue-collar Union metal sheet worker in the Sheet Metal local 2 Union for 16 years, Brandon’s experienced first-hand the responsibilities that come with providing for a family and relying on a paycheck. He also has family members that rely on disability and/or Medicaid.
Brandon is running to represent everyday, hardworking Kansans. He believes someone must step up to keep Kansas tax-payer dollars in Kansas.
Because Brandon doesn’t receive financial support from big business, his campaign relies on donations from constituents like you. With your help, we can ensure Kansans are truly represented in the state legislature, override the Republican supermajority, and start to make real change.
“Here are my takeaways about this candidate for the 42nd (my home district): he cares deeply about the issues facing our community and the state, he’s been fighting for those issues locally for over a decade, and decided it was time to take the next step. [Brandon] understands that homeowners need property tax relief more than multimillion dollar corporations do. He supports Kansan’s access to affordable healthcare and high quality public education. I look forward to hearing more about his campaign.”
